You're actually contributing to my point when you say people have gotten attached to SRK. Why will people watch a newcomer when they have SRK's huge name in a film. The aam janata will always go to watch a heavyweight and that's why khans are ruling Bollywood.

Also SRK is NOT the heart throb of the country anymore. Just do a poll between girls of age 15 to 20 n you'll see. Whether people like SRK or not they watch his films just out of curiosity and his ways to promote with red chillies is also plays a part in this. He's a complete down-the-hill actor and its unbearable to watch his comedic roles.

And lets not talk about his personality. Just watch him in koffe with karan season 3 and compare it with salman and aamir in season 4 n you will see the latter two act mature n are humble whereas srk is awfully arrogant. Aam janata don't see these; they're just happy to go to a superstar actors movie.
