Thanks LoveProfusion for the initiative - to discuss one movie every Saturday. Will give many of us an opportunity to revisit some of the commendable movies of the yesteryears and discuss about them.
Khalnayak was a hyped movie and it lived up to its expectations. Subhash Ghai was still directing more lot less meaningful films, and he had an excellent cast to back him up, to the boot. Hope his fortunes reverse soon.

The music was also good and so were the dance sequences, including the male version of choli ke Peeche. 😆 It was hilarious.

Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri and Jackie were also top notch - and the cinematography was excellent.

Awww, thanks for your interest. 🤗 We need to bring the 90's back alive on IF again. Subhash Ghai lost his mojo after Pardes and Taal. Khal Nayak was his last great commercial movie with all the big stars of that era. 😊

Yes sure. I did enjoy some of the 90s movies, and it will be fun to discuss about them. 😛

I remember to counter the huge interest surge in Khalnayak, another movie was also released at the same time - called Khalnaikaa, starring Jeetendra, Jaya Prada and Anu Agarwal

Its an ok sort, but the build up to final competition and business started then I guess. And the winner was ..., anybody could guess.

Anyway, another song I really liked is - palki pe hoke sawar chalk mien ... very melodious

This is how Wikipedia describes Khalnayak -
Khal Nayak (Hindi: -, Translation: Villain) is a 1993 Bollywood action thriller film produced and directed by Subhash Ghai. The story centres around the escape and attempted capture of a terrorist criminal Ballu (Sanjay Dutt) by Inspector Ram (Jackie Shroff) and his girlfriend officer Ganga (Madhuri Dixit). Box office India declared the film a "Super Hit" at the box office.[2] The dance and song "Choli Ke Peeche" became an instant classic for its choreography and notoriety for its suggestive lyrics.
