The vast majority of these types stories come from cultures that are steeped in superstitious beliefs, like the Indian subcontinent. The subcontinent is entrenched with such superstitions like black magic, evil eye, horoscopes, palmistry, astrology, numerology etc... belief, fear, and psychological suggestibility of the individual play a huge role. I've heard so many of these stories from desi people, including family, none from white folks so far.

Same thing with demonic possession, pretty much every notable case I've read about involved Catholics, so far I've never heard of a staunch atheist being possessed or affected by black magic.

look up Discovery Channels 'Hauntings' programme...it is a documentary series
enacting real posessions, hauntings and they happened to atheists.

The law of karma is such that anyone who practises black magic and harms another,
that person will feel the effects of their negative action and the karma will come back
100 times n more multiplied. im guessing 'the elephant man' might hv been somebody
who practised black magic in past.

about superstitions, ive seen cars, people stop when a cat crosses their path but ive
let them and nothing ever happened...europe, america is filled with cats and theyre
the most affluent, countries with strongest human rights records..so that one is a no no.

if a person by destiny is fortunate, even lightning can strike or a bullet aimed straight at
him, it will somehow bypass that person and he will be unharmed.

Actually it was you guys, the proponents of black magic, who were passing it off as if it was a fact, I merely challenged this assumption.

How can you even make such an assumption, based on what? None of this is even proven.

The ancient Sumerians had their set of deities and demons, they also believed in possessions and carried out exorcisms to remove them, isn't it funny that these ancient Sumerian gods and demons have disappeared altogether when their culture came to an end, and are now replaced with a whole different set of demons/spirits from the predominant existing cultures of today?

So if Sumerian demons were possessing people back in ancient times, why have they stopped today?, retirement?

I am confused about Karma. I do believe whoever harms anyone will suffer too one day. But I am not sure everyone will suffer in this world itself. They can suffer in afterlife too. So does this mean Karma too?

Darling
take for example, bill gates, born to affluent family, grandfather
banks president, gates goes to harvard - not just rich but brainy,
and is now worlds richest man...only good karma

now a family in rwanda, family members slaughtered in ethnic
violence, fleeing, grandkids living hand to mouth in a refugee
camp...sickness, bad karma..poverty, trauma, bleak future prospects

is this mere luck? roll of the dice?

if so, why do we even worship god? nothing is in our control..

if one believes in karma, it is explained...its not just this life,
we have many lifetimes, and we accumulate good or bad karma
and pay over lifetimes, not one lifetime

hence, bill gates eg has amassed good karma, all coming
back now...and the eg rwandan person has slaughtered,
mistreated others, stolen in previous lifetimes, hence he is
unable to get a break in this lifetime

like i said those who practise black magic will be cursed 100
fold more times for trying to harm another thru black magic

our future is in our control if we believe in good karma and stop
harming others, and practising loving kindness..those are the seeds
we reap, good fortune and happiness is what we receive for it, if
not in this lifetime, then the next.

Okay so ppl think black magic is real? 🤔
I personally don't believe in any superstitions including black magic, don't care about all these astrology, numerology etc. I do believe in karma but that's more a mental thing to cut down evil thoughts in my brain 😆

Most of these are religion based..One religion believes on some superstition..the other believes in something else,,The bottom line is all of these things makes no sense .nothing is proven.and living in 21st century..if I believe in all this crap..then I am mocking my Karma, my confidence on myself and the biggest of all..I am mocking my Education..That is what I feel..
