Priyanka Chopra In Shahrukh Khan's Raees

The latest buzz has it that Priyanka Chopra has bagged the lead role in Shah Rukh Khan starrer, 'Raees'. The film was recently in the news when Nawazuddin Siddiqui replaced Farhan Akhtar in the film. Now it has emerged that Chopra has apparently been offered the film.
A source says, "Chopra is in talks to play the lead role. They have been discussing it for a while now, but latest developments suggest that she has given them a go-ahead. This is will be her third film with Shah Rukh Khan after 'Don' and 'Don2'."
Another industry source adds, "Priyanka Chopra will Play Shahrukh Khan's Wife in the Film and another actress is likely to be cast in a supporting role with whom Khan's character will have an extra marital affair."
Interestingly, the buzz is strong that Karan Johar who will soon be seen in Anurag kashyap's Bombay Velvet will also play a pivotal role in the film as Chopra's Close Friend and Bodyguard.
When contacted, Chopra and Johar denied being offered the film. On the other hand, Rahul Dholakia, the film's director, remained unavailable for comment.
