But this very fairy tale might turn into a reality if Rohit Shetty was stranded on an island with the two Khans.
The director revealed this while appearing on Karan Johar's show 'Koffee With Karan' along with Zoya Akhtar. When the host quizzed Rohit what he would do if stranded on an island with Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan, the filmmaker's reply was prompt.
"I'll start making 'Bad Boys'," Shetty said.
Rohit Shetty has already directed Shahrukh Khan in Chennai Express which went on to make Rs. 227 crore net at the Indian box office.
Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan ended their five-year-long cold war last year when they hugged at an Iftar party in Mumbai (see photos here). Since then, they've shared the stage together, hugged again at Star Guild awards.
Rohit Shetty is known as the director with the Midas Touch. Almost every film he makes goes on to enter the 100 crore club. If indeed this Hindi version of 'Bad Boys' is ever made, it would be the biggest casting coup and a surefire 300 crore film.
Let's pray that Rohit Shetty, Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan get stranded on an island.
