Pari for now. Alia looks like a director's actor. Terrible in SOTY, exceptional in Highway.

Alia delivered a performance far too mature for someone her age.

^No, she didn't.
She was cringeworthy in many scenes.
The only person who deserved acclodes was Randeep,.what a performance..but he wont get any dues because he is not star kid.

LOL isn't Parineeti a star sister also?? She is also way over-rated!

It is a matter of perception! Not denying Randeep's good performance but Alia was really good also! Much better than what Kareena could deliver in the early days!

Agree , perception.
But i found her decent only in scenes she was playing herself otherwise she was the weak link.
A better actress would have enhanced those scenes.

Alia cannot act .. her highway performance is so overrated.. i watched the film, and only thing i remember is Randeep's effortless acting.. at the end of the film, u just feel sad for Mahabir, and thats it .. I couldnt connect to veera's character atall..

I think Alia Bhatt is more attractive than Parineeti.

If they are going to cast an actress based on looks they most likely will chose Alia.

Also for being her second film and having not acted much she did good in Highway.
