Why Armaan Kohli lost out on Sooraj Barjatya's film

You may have heard that, before Neil Nitin Mukesh bagged the role in Sooraj Barjatyas next with Salman Khan, Armaan Kohli was one of the names doing the rounds for that part. So was Vidyut Jammwals; except that he declined to do the role on account of it being a negative one. However, in Armaan's case, it was the director who decided that he shouldn't be a part of the film.

I am told that Sooraj Barjatya didn't find Armaan convincing enough for the part, despite the fact that Salman was very keen on getting him cast in the film for the negative role. However, at that point, Sooraj had already auditioned Neil Nitin Mukesh and was keen on casting him. But Armaan has no reason to worry - in true Bhai fashion, Salman has assured Armaan that he's looking out for another suitable role for him and will get him cast in the near future!

And I am glad it's NNM because his scenes with Sonam in Players had some chemistry there and it kind of sounds like they'll have scenes together. His and Omi's scenes in Players were the only parts I really enjoyed.
