This entire incident is creeping me out. Can't even imagine what the families of the victims must be going through - and the victims themselves if they are alive (I don't mean to sound insensitive, so sorry if the wording came out wrong).

Hoping for a miracle at this point. :(

Get out of your pathetic world. And prefer not to comment if you are gonna throw shit like this on such threads regarding people's lives 🤢

North Korea is 1500 Km away from Malaysia and the plane did not carry enough fuel to fly that far. Plus, the plane would have had to pass undetected through the air-space of atleast half a dozen countries to reach North Korea.
Even though the likelihood of a hijack sounds impossible to me, in case it has happened, the plane is most likely somewhere in the vicinity of where it was last traced.
Some parts of Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia and Thailand are virtually no-man's land...there are not one or two, but hundereds of completely uninhabited islands shrouded in mountains, mist and dense jungle.
Okay, not sure about this, but can someone tell me whether the satellites that capture the images on Earth are capable of covering every inch of the Earth and the Atmosphere all the time? What is the likelihood that a mid-air explosion did take place and the satellite did not capture it at that point in time? From what I know and have read, these satellites are tuned to capture things like a rocket being fired off in space or a missile launch or some kind of a nuclear explosion...an aircraft exploding in the atmosphere would not be big enough or create enough heat for the satellite's sensors to pick up!
Btw, its raining pretty hard in the Gulf of Thailand area and the waves in the sea are almost touching 2 meter height, hence the search mission is not going on as well as it was intended. That might be the reason why the debris is virtually untraceable...if the Sea is so volatile, it would keep shifting everything faster than it can be spotted by anyone.

Flight was travelling from KL to Beijing. It took off at 12:30 midnight and was supposed to reach Beijing around 5:30 in the morning, local time. But around 2:30 am, the Ground Control lost touch with the plane...as in the plane vanished from the radar. All this happened in the early hours of 8th March...till now, there is no trace of either the plane or the passengers crew onboard.

its hijacked

Taiwan's spy chief revealed yesterday that the island's security officials had last week received a warning about possible terrorist attacks on the mainland.

National Security Bureau chief Tsai De-sheng told a legislative committee that the agency had passed on a warning of planned attacks on Beijing airport and the city's subway system to mainland authorities after receiving it on March 4.

Tsai did not specify how the warning, which came three days after a knife attack at Kunming railway station left 29 civilians dead, had been relayed to the bureau.

However, security chiefs were believed to have received the alert from Taiwan-based China Airlines, following a phone call to the airline earlier in the day from a man who said he wanted to warn of possible terrorist activity.

Claiming to work for an anti-terrorism organisation in France, the caller spoke in French at first but switched to Putonghua with a Cantonese accent when the airline's switchboard operator could not understand him.

China Airlines yesterday confirmed that a call was received on March 4. It said the information it received was passed to Taiwan's civil aviation authority and aviation police.

In a statement, the airline said: "China Airlines on March 4 received a call claiming to provide intelligence on terrorist organisations and which referred to mainland China, saying Beijing airport would see terrorist attacks."
