@poppy and @janhaviSRK agree! As soon as he entered the stage he took over with his confidence, he is an actor, an entertainer and that is exactly wat he did, he entertained!

The smiles on the audience face when he was talking said it all, he was also very respectful to all the speakers as well.

I did understand what he was saying, he basically said that he didn't get any help from the industry and that his opportunity came by luck. He also said that he did have to struggle at that time as well. He doesn't like politics and doesn't have any political views, his life is consumed by acting rite now. He said in the future his views mite change.

Wat I also loved was the interaction between him and the host!

He is such an adorable goofball, Dex!😆

When he came dancing onto the stage, I was like, W*F?😆 Everyone was looking so serious and all, and here he comes prancing away! He danced on Tattad Tattad too! Lolz! It was really funny without being disrespectful to the assembled crowd! He got the max taalis from everyone and if it wasn't such a hoitey-toitey crowd, they would have whistled for him too!😆

The good part about Ranveer is that he is all entertaining, but at the same time, he always shows a lot of respect to his counter-parts...not sure if he was interested in what the others were talking about, but he listened to them pretty intently without interupting or anything! His drama was only reserved for himself!😆

I was sort of expecting him to be all serious and speak something relevant, he did not!😆

Expecting a similar sort of thing from Salman too...he wont' dance like Ranveer, but even he won't take anything seriously!

Wow!! Guys from bolly goss to India today we've come a long way 😆
Our parents will be b proud dat we at least interested in anything remotely concerned wid Politics nIndia Today 😉 instead of bollywood for once

Btw, I could not help laughing when he said, 'I have too many things happening in my life right now!'😆 Somehow, it felt like he was talking in reference to Deepika!

Going to hear Deepika speak tomorrow too, she is not half as entertaining as Ranveer, but she speaks very well!

lol maybe he did refer to her mentally 😆 deepu does speak well..
u know dis whole conclave thing..I felt time and again vki he did it all very srk ish...u know .make the most boring stuff interesting. ..did you also feel? Srk is part of soo many such events. .which I've seen rather tolerated cos of him

When Ranveer wants to talk,boy he does talk!!! He is very articulate,i mean his vocabulary is awesome...I loved the fact that everybody enjoyed his antics,nobody looked down upon him...but one sore point was the person who was moderating telling that"Ranveer has the luxury of being indifferent to politics,but we don't...I mean W*F??? when our politicians themselves are indifferent to the plight of the people,why should a filmstar care about politics??? they do their job,the politicians don't...talk about sanctimonious people... And Mr.Paswan was so full of himself,talk about preachimg...I think movie stars are a soft target for these people...

this was just my opinion..

Yes...Yes!😆 He reminded me of SRK, a lot! Ofcourse, SRK is more sophisticated...Ranveer's approach is more youthful and completely inhibited!

But they are both born showmen...absolutely no trace of self-consciousness and totally confident in themselves.

It was actually nice that he was honest about his feelings for politics and said upright that he doesn't have time or inclination towards it!

Mr. Paswan was probably pissed off that he could not make it in the movies!😆

I loved his speech at the India Today Youth Summit last year, he had a lot of relevant and good advice to give to the youth, with a mix of his trademark humour. They had to stop him cos he ran over time. Hope this one too is a good mix of both.
