But why should she not clarify when people try to imply that she was never ever offered that movie. I think one thing it clarifies is that she was offered the movie, Sooraj in his interview said that and his production house me tionedit but only Deepika said not say anything about her upcoming projects.

Seems like deepika is doing lot of charity these days , barjatiya movie went to sonam , now even peku seems to be going to sonam. Deepika seems to be replacing kareena in charity. 😉

That whole article was hilarious & PRish😆 Wonder What hit Masand to write it? Also am a bit grossed by that blind if it's Raveena! Isn't she married with kids😕 But I have started to like Kashyap a bit since his KWK episode! And doubt anything will affect Anu anymore. She seems to have found a zen like state since she met Virat😉 And isn't shooting of that Hirani film done?!

As much as people go "HER PR!!! HER PR!!!!", Deepika was indeed offered SB's film and she declined it. Sonam doing Piku, is not true, Deepika is in it.

Guys wat if deepika was offered zoyas next and that's how she knows the script, but she had to decline becuz of date issues, that can also be a possibility rite? And if ranveer did show her script then so wat? She isn't in it so there's no problem with her saying she wished she was part of it becuz the script is gud. I am sure many actresses wish they were part of many other movies.

There zoya is signing on exclusive deal with ranveer so that no details go out and here the girl friend is giving exclusive details of film that she is not even part of in exclusive interview with her new chaddi buddy rajeev masand , who does bussiness by leaking blind items of the lady

The blind didn't say they are still scratching each other's back. It happened when Raveena was single & Anurag was a script writer.

She was also sporting enough to admit that she wishes she'd been offered Zoya Akhtar's next (now titled Dil Dhadakne Do), which she describes as a "crazy, terrific script"

There are 2 scenarios:

1. If she was asked whether she would have liked to work in the film considering the hero is her rumored boyfriend too then it's ok. I'm mean she can't say(if asked) -No,I don't want to work in Zoya Akhtars next. Who is going to say that openly!Who is going to do professional harakiri!

Or,

2. If she blabbered on her own without being asked then I think it was completely unrequired.Hope she learns value of silence too someday.

Totally agree. The bottom-line is, (however much people seem unable or unwilling to digest it) that she is in fact offered all these films. OF COURSE SHE IS! She's the number one heroine in the country. The same thing happened when Sridevi was offered every script, just like Madhuri was and then Kajol after her. Katrina was in a similar position not that long ago. It's what happens when you're top of the pile. The fact that the media is so pervasive now and we get to know about this when before we didn't before doesn't make that fact any less true. It's so strange to me how people don't seem to get this.

As for Deepika supposedly leaking "exclusive" details of the story... er, like what? Again, seems to me like people have jumped the gun because (a) it's Deepika and she's apparently the spawn of the devil these days and (b) they don't like what they're reading because it doesn't fit into whatever narrative people prefer to believe. Jennifer Garner recently said in an interview that she'd seen the new Batman suit and that the script is great. How dare she talk about a project her better half is working on? I suppose she's lobbying for a role in that film eh?

Deepika will start to piss off other heroines with "I wish i was in that movie" comment about every interesting movie out there. It's highly disrespectful to Priyanka and Anushka who has been cast in the movie. She wasn't like this before 2013 so people will think this is an attitude change due to the success last year. Intentionally or not, she's coming off as if she's entitled to all the big movies out there.
