Aalia was beyond amazing in Highway, Siddharth was decent in HTP...infact, ranveer and arjun got bad reviews recently for not being able to match up to the masala madness of vinod khanna, sunny deol, dharmendar, Anil kapoor or Ab Snr in Gunday...so whoz to say that who will sustain in the long run?

I love how anyone who is a star kid automatically becomes a rich spoilt brat who is talentless...worse if KJO promotes them, they somehow become even more worthless..even if they are genuinely good performers...ppl dunt wanna see it because "eww...their first film was SOTY directed by KJO which is a candy floss unrealistic highschool movie exactly like it was publicized to be and not some masterpiece with scope for gr8 acting" ...duh...😳

Why just actors even the members are not spared here.If u dare to like anyone among the SOTY trio u have no sense of good cinema,extremely shallow as a viewer who just dont care about anything but looks..Arjun,SSR fans are given more respect as they debuted with more realistic cinema and nt candyfloss Kjo flicks...Anyone who appreciates Kjo movies or Sallu-Akki masala entertainers are dumb to core...no matter if the same person is also a fan of so called "intelligent" cinema like Lootera or KPC...Masala movies and their plot lines were trashed like no tomorrow but as soon as Gundey arrived whole perspective changed. and same masala potboliers became epic

Alia and Sid CAN act, please watch their respective releases this month to check this. Yeah they're not brilliant actors, but they're learning, and it's only their second film. Give em a break.

I think the main difference between YRF and Dharma is that no matter what, even if the actor's first film or second film flops, YRF makes sure they complete the 3 Film contract. And yeah they introduce better talent, good actors!

To me both are the same. Among actors they pick people from their close circle. Coming to acting chops given a good director and good setup almost everyone ends up acting(apart from Katrina). Yes, the good thing is that both YRF and Dharma and also UTV is promoting new talent and is trying experimental cinema, instead of doing the same old thing and taking the same old stars!

PS: Random stuff...but amongst the SOTY Trio, it was Varun I liked the best! I never expected that Sid and Alia would come up with such peformances in their second films. Especially Alia, who was beyond annoying in SOTY! But oh boy, did she take everyone by surprise or what!

LD, Varun Dhawan is ADORABLE! But he needs to stop signing films like MTH, they won't get him anywhere even if it's a hit. Kuch seekho Sid aur Alia se. 😆

Varun is cute...Arjun looks manly,...I will rate them at equal level...But Arjun should take care of his weight...he loooks unflattering when he gains some pounds

Alia's dimples and sparkling eyes wins me over...Anushka before surgery used to look pretty with that bright smile...Both these girls are cute not beautiful like DP or Sonam

I find Parineeti average looking but with grooming and good styling she looks good too
