Why is Randeep Hooda sidelined in his own film?

Highway is promoted as an Alia Bhatt starrer, is Randeep Hooda not even in the movie?

He is unanimously praised by most of the reviews.

But the way he is ignored in promotions - is plain rude.

Do only mainstream Bollywood losers matter?

Why take him then?

What a shame.

This is something I've been noticing too! He is a very very talented actor! But he has no promotion space for Highway!! 😡

I think it's almost like he is being portrayed as a supporting actor even when he has been praised more than Alia!

It's very sad. I hope he definitely asks Imtiaz Ali about this.

The film is being portrayed like it is Alia's movie & story. 🥱

even I have noticed in the tweets about the movie, they only really talk about alia, its as if she is like the solo heroine of the movie, when randeep has an equally important role as her.

Its really sad to see the more 'popular' one getting more scope.

He isn't that big a star you know. Neither is Alia but at least she is news all the time since SOTY. Moreover, there is simply something about his personality that puts me off. I don't know what it is. Maybe he is just way too rugged.
