Parineeti has done only 3 films where she has been the leading actress, and in these three films she has proved that she is extremely talented! She is still VERY NEW, I don't understand all this pressure to be versatile already, relax and give it time. I rather see her movies in YRF that allow her to grow as an actor, than do a stupid film like Krish 3 or Dhoom 3 where she has no role.

No one took Priyanka seriously until Aitraaz, which was her 6 or 7th movie. Even after that, she became crap again until Fashion in 2008. And now again shes pretty crappy doing 3 minute roles in Agneepath, Krish3 and probably Gunday.

Parineeti may be working with the same banners, but these banners are giving her strong performance oriented roles. That's why she has rejected movies like Holiday and Khiladi with Akshay Kumar. I personally feel her role in Ishaqzaade and HTP are POLES apart. She is not playing a bindas girl in HTP, its a completely different and versatile role.

And HTP may have faded away FOR YOU, but according to the Box Office, it had a VERY good 2nd Friday and is doing well. So thiking HTP is a huge flop or washout is wishful thinking.

PC is one of the most versatile actresses we have today (strictly my opinion). She is always experimenting. Some work for her and some don't. Big deal. That happens with every star. On the other hand, Pari may not be as good as PC yet but I think she does have talent (this is coming from someone who found her overrated a couple months ago and still do...somewhat). I haven't seen HTP yet but from what I've heard she stole all the limelight. She must have been terrific in the movie to completely overshadow Sid and be applauded by everyone (again this is coming from what I've read about HTP). I'll definitely catch HTP whenever I get time to see how good she really was.
But for now, it's too early to judge her and categorize her. We need to give her more time to establish herself. She is fairly new and maybe her line up for next year ain't that great but who knows she might just surprise us in the future (like Deepika had surprised us last year...at least she surprised me). It all depends on what she signs next. Give her a couple more years.

I also remember reading one of her interviews after LVRB and Ishaqzaade, where she had admitted to being unemployed and she went on a movie rejecting spree and said no to all sorts of films.

She waited and then signed SDR and HTP...and then later signed the other 2 yrf projects. Apparently in Kill Dill she is going to be shown in a completely different light, she will play a glamourous character - the kind Priyanka has been playing, so lets see how that works out. But I agree, itll take another 3-4 years to really understand and see where Parineeti goes.

Parineeti already is versatile... none of her characters resemble each other and she's portrayed them all brilliantly...

Parineeti is way above Priyanka in terms of acting

Cmon She has already shown Versatility by doing SDR n HTP back to back wid 2 characters completely different from each other nd has won accolades for her acting too in HTP

Banner really doesnt matter when it comes to powerhouse of talent like Parineeti...Moreover she is quite new Give Her time she will defo do more versatile characters
