Anyways, among this crop, definitely Ranbir. For all his faults, the man knows how to act convincingly and has shown versatility.

Ranveer is also really good, tons of raw potential. He just needs to refine it, cut the harsh edges. I'm very excited to see Ranveer progress. He's definitely a person to watch out for (and it helps that he seems so nice and excited about everything!)

Shahid is a good actor, but does not shine all the time. I feel like Shahid, despite being in the industry for so long, can still improve a little. I do think its sad how after being so huge, he's struggling right now.

I completely agree on Shahid...he had everything going for him - talent, looks, dance...but some bad choice of movies...and inconsistency in performances has somehow pushed him down...at one point..touted to be the next big thing and today still struggling to find his foot

but the fact that he is still around and not disappeared into oblivion is his chance...one good movie - strong script and a good role can get him back in the game

definately RK😳...all of them are good yeah but biru to me right now is the best out of the lot

and it's quite unfair to compare ranveer with actors like RK and shahid IMHO

Bengali Industry is so much better. So much.

However, for argument's sake, Ranbir is a more popular star, and for now the better actor.

Ranveer, as someone said above, has serious raw potential, just needs a bit of honing and polishing. He has the most potential among the newcomers for sure. His versatility is noteworthy. I watched Lootera, BBB and Ram Leela back to back. And he was a completely different person in every film.

And Shahid, is a good actor actually, but he has been here for so long, and has not been able to make a mark at all. So, not much faith in him any more. I mean, ten years, and not one good movie to speak of, other than Kaminey and JWM? Sad.

for that matter...the real crop of actors and talent lies in theater and not movies😉😆 its still easier to give a shot on camera with 3489137 retakes - as against live performances in front of the audience - JMO

if Ranbir-Ranveer-Shahid dont get benchmarked as good actors - then the new crop of actors after them in BW are just nowhere even close really😆 and the unconventional ones - like Rajkumar Rao, Nawazuddin have a long way to go - sure they are brilliant but not bankable at the moment

No, actually, I meant that Bollywood really lacks in good, raw talent. I am not saying these actors are bad at all. They are pretty good, and have some or other ex-factor going for them- For Ranbir, it's his great choices, for Shahid, his dancing, for Ranveer, his versatility. But raw talent is still lacking here. I vote for Dhanush. 👍🏼 The rest of the newcomers are bad. Nepotism is ruining Bollywood. And there will soon be a time when there is no real talent left here.

Oh yeah...Dhanush is absolutely amazing👏👏 he is class apart and was terrific in ranjhanna- looking forward to his upcoming movie with balki right?

I agree on that - nepotism sure is resulting in infusion of average actors (for the better word of it)

But, again, they wont survive long without talent, even if the rich daddy/ relatives want to spend all their money on them...nobody is bigger than the audience😉 and hence the deserving will get the chance...m optimistic on that😊

For me both Ranveer and Ranbir are good and talented. As a fan of both, I wouldn't like to compare.

Now on Shahid . I believe apart from Kaminey what other roles he has done out of comfort and is critically appreciated. The shocking part is,it been more 10 years for him. Let wait for Haider now

Its really difficult to decide... especially between Ranbir and Ranveer... time and again Ranveer has proved his abilities and his potential... Bt i would still like to go with Ranbir... My simple logic is that Ranbir has been in BW for a longer time and has done quiet a variety of roles... especially in Barfi, Wake up sid, Raajneeti, Rockstar etc... so he has played serious character, kiddish types, fun types and wat not!

As for Ranveer, he has definitely done some good work, bt most of his roles have been of a character with OTT attitude, fun loving, mastikhor types... Bt since he has been here only for a short period of time, so i can give him a leeway...m sure he will do much better and variety of roles in future😳
