reason being Ranbir has played diversed roles in many of his films from saawariya to wake up sid to rocket-singh to raajneeti to rockstar to barfi etc, while Parineeti been way TOO over rated among all of the actresses in current generation for the SAME role she has played in ALL of her movies released till date. bubbly, energetic, loud, blunt.

I strongly feel that she has been given way TOO MUCH credit from the viewers and media that she actually deserve despite being I like her as an actress and has nothing against her. But this sheep mentality to choose & start praising one actor is quite annoying at times.
