Dhanush can do anything: Balki

Bollywood director Balki, who has tied up with Dhanush for his upcoming film, is all praise for the National Award winning actor.

'Dhanush can do any type of role. Be it a school student or a gangster or a rural youth, he can excel in any character. That's why I rope in him for his next,' he says.

Apart from Dhanush, the film will have Amitabh Bachchan and Akshara Haasan (younger daughter of Kamal) in lead roles. Music is by Ilayaraja and cinematography by P C Srreeram.

'All my films so far featured Amitabh because the roles were right fit for him. And my films will have music by Raja sir only, since I grew up listening to his songs,' says Balki.

It is well known that Ulaganayagan Kamalhassan's younger daughter Akshara Hassan is making her acting debut with actor Dhanush in the bollywood film to be directed by Balki who gave soulful films like Cheeni kum and Paa.

The shoot of this yet to be titled flick has started recently and it is said that some romantic scenes including Dhanush and Akshara have been shot in the past two days.

Akshara whose ambition was to become a Director was working as Assistant director in a few bollywood films and has rejected many offers to act. It is to be noted that Akshara's elder sister Sruthi Hassan is going great guns as a heroine in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Now Akshara is all set to follow her sister with her acting debut in a film that includes some famous names of Indian film industry like Ilayaraja and P.C.Sreeram.
