Fans of a waning star are behaving as though their fandom is some cult, an ex-fan shows allegiance to another actor and suddenly they break into hives and see it as betrayal. Get a life, and be content that you're a 'loyal' fan, no need to shove your perspective onto others.
Personally I hate getting acquainted with fellow fans, based on my experience on tv forums, it just ruins the whole forum going experience.
