Salman's Hum Aapke hain Kaun - Highest grossing film for 7 years

Aamir's Ghajini - Highest grossing film for 1 year.

Aamir's 3 Idiots - Highest grossing film for 4 years.

Shahrukh's Chennai Express - Highest grossing film for 4 months

Khans the Wannabes held the record for Total = 7+1+4+0.333 = 12.33333 years

Deols.

Dharmendra's Sholay - Highest grossing film for 19 EPIC years.

Sunny's Gadar* - Highest grossing film for 5 years.

Legendery Deols held the record Total = 19+5 = 24 EPIC Years

*About Gadar -

Around 40 million tickets of Gadar were sold during its theatrical run while other high grossing films like 3 Idiots and Dabbang sold around 25 million tickets each.

Inflation Adjusted Gross - Rs 2,865,500,000 which beats 3 Idiots and by default Ghajini which makes it highest grossing movie of the DECADE.

lol why is everyone so obsessed with the Khans😆

I don't love or praise SRK coz he made some records...I just adore him for his work and how he is off-screen. Sunny and the Deols can have the records. Gadar seems to deserve it anyways.

Just giving a reality check to people who keep boasting of this and that record to show how an actor is superior to others. 😉

Sunny Deol is criminally underrated!

At his peak, he was no less than what Salman is today.

Only 4 actors have given ATBB's in Bollywood in the last 3 decades.

The 3 Khans and Sunny Paaji.

But the problem is how everyone on this forum seems to believe that a common person KNOWS or CARES about these records. It's a misconception. It's only if you land up on these sort of forums when you even find out these details. Otherwise who cares.

Its mostly because, its running on 1 screen just for the heck of it. YRF is paying to rent that screen just so they can be in the record books. Awesome movie, but thoda zyada ho gaya.
