Ok here is my short review, SPOILER ALERT
I actually liked the movie, even though it was a mix between the prestige and now you see me, but it still bought in its own twist and quite a bit of originality.
Aamir was very good in the movie, it takes a lot to play two roles and that too at the same time. However I would say that he could have a acted a tiny bit better, don't get me wrong he was very good, I can't pinpoint what it is but that's how I felt. Maybe it was the direction.
Also some of aamirs facial expressions at some parts was a bit weird, like his serious face or some faces he made as Samar, it made me laugh a little bit but again this doesn't take away from his great performance, he also looked quit old in some of the zoom frames.
Abhishek and uday were very good in the roles they had, but they have been playing them for 3 movies so it was obvious they were going to be natural.
And I really wish katrina had more scenes, bcuz I loved her in her parts of the movie, like her entry scene was done very well and I loved her character, she was really cute, Katrina's dialogue delivery also has improved so it would have been great to have seen her in a more meaty role in the movie, I don't understand how kat agreed to be in it for such few scenes.
But kamli and malang were done very well by her, and u can see she put in a lot of hard work for what she was given, u have gotta give credit to her for that.
And I loved samars character! He was so sweet and I felt so sorry for him as he didn't have any friends and had to be hidden away for most of his life. Aamir so covincingly separated the two characters, just through his body language he made the two characters come to life, really kudos to him.
I got quite emotional a few times, like when the end scene when Samar holds onto Sahir and said he promised he wouldn't let his brother go, many scenes between the brothers got me emotional and jackie shroff played the father very well.
The death scene reminded me of the one from ramleela, like how Samar and sahir were falling back into the water, it's shot the same way ram and leela fall into the water to their death.
All the stunts were really good, except for the running down the building, u cud tell it was fake as sahirs feet weren't even touching the building.
Also aamir needs to maybe think about stopping dancing, he really isn't a natural, but atleast he tries, but like I said it looks a bit awkward.
So all in all I would give it 3.5/5 it was good and quite intelligently made and I would definatley watch it again, but probably not all at once bcuz it was too long.
