She was pretty, still pretty. Above all she is a good actress.

I think Anushka's changed now. After BBB, in an interview she'd said she wanted to be on top like Madhuri Dixit. Now she says she's not in the race.

So rumours of her looking up the internet weren't wrong.

Actually it's not just PV. Even MTV Tickr had made a lot of fun of her looks after RNBDJ release and called her Poor man's Katrina Kaif.

She had an ordinary face, but great complexion and hair, fabulous body and fantastic height. She's not ugly!

She's revealed Adi Chopra also said "You're no Aishwarya" to her and that statement shocked her because before that she thought highly of her looks.

I feel bad for her. But I can understand. She was quite young and on her own. She was competitive and wanted to make a mark so such statements must have hurt her self image.

Too bad she decided to go in for plastic surgery. She wasn't ugly earlier but did ruin her face with that surgery.

Her interviews are always nice. She seems to be honest and says whatever her state of mind is.

But I never thought she'd be the one to take comments on internet and other remarks in real life so seriously. She seemed to be someone who was comfortable in her own skin.

She was on crest after BB with loads of endorsements and appearances/performances everywhere. She should have believed her talent than rubbish doled out by others on her looks. Today she has only two endorsements in her hands now. With her upcoming films she'll bounce back for sure.

Anushka's very humane. The way she openly talks about remarks of critics, industry wallahs, behaviour of award juries, fans, online commentators etc. and how they affect her. Very rare of stars to be so candid about what they see and how it affects them.

I hope she ignores comments and doesn't let it affect her looks or career anymore.

Despite everything she's still out there and working, hasn't given up - that's commendable.

P.S - I think her interview is going to make websites and online forums bit more strict in their moderation policies for sake of their reputation!

I can relate to her. She seems to be the kind of a person who would put up a "tuff" act in front of the world to conceal her vulnerabilities. The part where she particularly mentions how she's not too comfortable with hugs and kisses...I can so relate! 😆 Not that I am emotionally detached, but I do not find it necessary to put my emotions on display all the time. Obviously she did not go under the knife ONLY because of Piknvilla...it's probably due to a culmination of events which lead her to that point. Now there's no going back for her. She should understand that Bollywood is temporary...you're only good till so many Fridays...there's an expiry date attached to this Industry for everyone...even the #1s and #2s today will be #10908292 some Friday's later. Do what you feel good doing...live your life on your own terms...and if success follows, great...if not, don't let that define you. She took it to heart when she was not recognized for Rab Ne...then when BBB happened, she was still unsure. Also this girl does not know how to handle PR planted news...😆 (ie..the whole DP-Anushka fiasco)

I can't see why people think she's ugly... she's beautiful in her own way. I guess because she doesn't look like all the other heroines many of which look like goddesses .

Even Aish the supposedly most beautiful woman in the world gets called ugly sometimes let alone you Anuska. Don't be so sensitive. People say whatever they want online.

its just sad because she has permanently changed her face, she doesn't have that fresh girl next door look anymore.

this was a very honest interview...so she actually confessed that she believed what people say online...really sad then! I really really liked her in RNBDJ, I miss that girl next door look of her!
