R... Rajkumar First Weekend Box Office Collection. Decent.

R.. Rajkumar has collected a very decentopening weekend collection of approx 31.7 crore nett as per estimates. Film showed decent jump of around 25% onSunday from Saturday. Film has collected an estimated 11.75-12 crore nett on Sunday which is pretty good.

This is biggest opener of Shahid Kapoor by a huge margin. It is some kind of rejoice for Sonakshi also as she is having a mediocre year at box office.

Now coming straight to the point. R... Rajkumar has started well in the weekend. Film needs to sustain well in weekdays to put up decent numbers for the week. If that happens, with open second week film might go past the Hit zone. Budget of the film is significant and that's why weekdays run from now on is equally important.

Collection Breakup -

Friday - 10.2 crore nett.

Saturday - 9.5 crore nett.

Sunday - 11.75-12 crore nett (est).

Total - 31.7 crore nett.

R... Rajkumar held well on Monday with collections in the 4.75-5 crore nett region. The film held up well all over with a very strong hold in CP Berar, CI and Rajasthan. The film is a big hit in these markets. The film was steady in East Punjab as well where it did not perform well over the weekend, the collections were low but the drop was less than 50% compared to Friday. The all India drop from Friday was 45% while some circuits showed just 35% drop.

The Maharashtra and Gujarat areas have also seen good collections since release and were solid on Monday. The total collections in four days are around 32.50 crore nett and the week should go to around 43 crore nett. The film is now set for a good two week run till the release of Dhoom 3 next Friday.

R... Rajkumar did well in its first week collecting around 44 crore nett. The film opened well then dropped a little on Saturday but had a rock solid Monday and has been steady over the rest of the weekdays.

The film has scored very well in Mumbai, Rajasthan, CP Berar, CI, Bihar and Nizam while other circuits have seen average business though these circuits have been steady on the weekdays with collections on the lower side.

The film is sure to cross 60 crore nett as second week will be good but 70 crore nett will probably be tough as Dhoom 3 comes next week and R... Rajkumar will see a huge reduction in collections. The film has chances of being amongst the top ten grossers of 2013.
