I wouldn't underestimate her. Only b/c her fan following has increased like 10-fold this year. One flop won't do anything. A consistent string of flops might, but Deepika is both a star and an actress so if she keeps picking risky, unconventional, meaty roles then she's solid. I remember people saying RL won't do well and it won't work and it has. So who knows?! Until we see a legit trailer or picture you never know. Krish 3 was underestimated and some are even underestimating D3. It's too early to kick Deepika out of the running.

I can speak for myself. I really like Deepika as an actress. I have never really liked any actress after Madhuri Dixit. I can see Deepika as an upcoming great talent. She has it in her. She has consistently improved her performance in each movie. I agree she still needs to improve. But she can definitely do it. Moreover I like her personality too. She has that star quality in her. Very likeable and so REAL..I have seen people even from the industry commenting the same opinion on twitter about her..just like this one

This same cycle has happened with so many actresses, Rani, Preity, Vidya...and it will happen to Deepika too...She's no Madhuri or Aishwarya or Kareena that she can survive in the industry despite having flops, that's something very few actresses have, and Deepika Devi is not one of them.

Remember when Rani was considered a legend? What happened to that? Now she's eating pakoda's and drinking lassi's off of Yash Chopra's retirement funds.

Sure there could be a chance that Dhoom 3 can surpass Deepika's movies. But when it comes time for the Bolly awards, Deepika's in actually a good place to win several

Deepika is class apart from Kiaf ! Kaif is in d industry since i dont knw how long, deepika has tremendously improved since th elast 5 years if i m not wrong👍🏼
