It's very common for the trade to adjust 2-3 crores in the totals. It happens with a lot of other big films.

But yes, BOI is definitely biased towards a certain stars and have an agenda against some. Hrithik doesn't come in either categories.

yes i hope within next year BOi gets shut down, with every big film like krrish, the difference amongst the figures will increase, and then producers will be on the pedestal, when practically they r the only ones who can claim about the figures and without their word none of the sites can report anything..

Is boi extention of toi. In that case toi, filmfare, zoom , mumbai mirror are all sister firms . They have a mentality of we can make or break a star. And they form a huge chunk of media. I dont know wht problem they are having with hrithik. They are trying to make it look as if its fault of rakesh roshan

Its the same story after every big release. Fans of that star denounce BOI and declare it a fraud. But finally we all go back to it. First it was Salman fans, then SRK fans, now HR fans, tommorow Aamir fans and later on Salman fans again.😆A few of us denouncing BOI wont change the fact that the industry and trade follows BOI.

i dont think either of the are extensions from BOI, becos rest of the sites have qouted the prouducers figures while BOi qouted their own.. i could be wrong though..

Thats not true but the opposite the industry and trade go by taran and media not some site that hasnt updated since 2010.. Never seen any star tweet BOI number or mention them😆😆

They party once taran/media announce and articles go with it ..like no one says race 2 or grand masti not 100 crore club because BOI said it made less then 100...BOI since 3i no one go by there nmbers nor care. They were known by trade only ( BOI).. Till 3i, since 3I taran started with bollywood hungama most go to him now!!

Plus BOI isnt able nor capable now to get accurate numbers on huge movies since they have so many screens and who will go to each single screen owner?

Small movies yes one can have better tabs on..and ram leea wasnt as wide release as others like K3..still issues with ram leela occurred!!
