Deepika had a wayy better debut than Ranbir did, did she not? despite a not so amazing debut, Ranbir did really good for himself all these yrs..besides, Besharam does he really have anything negative in his resume? She pulled up her socks just recently and started getting recognition for her acting. I don't think it's fair to say Ranbir and her were on the same level because they weren't. I give Deepika credit for improving by sheer hard work etc, but one must be in denial if they think Deepika has always the best of the best from day 1.

Even the Khans have their flops..I don't think one awful movie should put Ranbir down. Hopefully it is a reality check for him and he realizes that he should stick to good scripts and he'll be fine...doing a masala film doesn't always work for everyone anyway..neither does it prove your acting skills as an actor. As someone said before, Besharam would've probably worked only if it had Salman Khan because such stuff is his forte, not Ranbir's.

& sawaariya did more for him than OSO did for deepika , she was just a pretty face in the srk movie where u will hardly notice her next to the superstar but where ranbir didn't hav to be a second fiddle to anyone and got more exposure through that movie !
