Saif doesn't have a good scrips sense either, Salaam Namaste, Parineeta, Hum Tum & Omkara were good roles for him, I enjoyed his work in those films. But other than those I don't think he have a good scrips sense at all.

U shud look at Saif's films in 90s..

Ya know, I don't know why I get irritated when people say Shahid has been in the industry for the last 10 years - failed to give any hits so he is done.

Maybe you are right.

But c'mon! Unlike Ranveer, RK, Shahid was an early starrer. I mean, people, look at him 5/10 years back -- who could have taken him seriously? He was literally a kid! Even if he was giving good movies I doubt he could have overshadowed Khans, Kumar, etc.

Then he ruined half of his career being in a serious, no-good relationship at that age.

I think, people are forgetting he is 32 --- It depends on ones destiny. BW is the kind of industry where's there 's too much competition. Age is surely an advantage. If he is serious about his future, you can't predict what's to come. He seems to be picking himself. Stop looking in the past, see the present.

Even when he was young..he did not tread a conventional path..his first movie was a college romance..which was appreciated..but he did not repeat himself..he went and chose films like Fida & Shikhar..the Boy thought differently even then..😳

Yes Desi and I've said this in another thread that Kareena is Shahid in a skirt considering the bad movie choices she makes. Both are talented actors with amazing screen presence but jinxed with crappy movie choices

He needs it --- he is balancing it out. On one hand he is doing a movie like RR and on the other, he is doing Haider which is all about script. Nothing wrong with.

I just hope he doesn't get type castes as the new masala film actor and keeps doing these nonsensical masala movies.

Because shahid is usually someone who goes for unconventional roles such as kaminey, I am glad to see him doing a movie like haider that will really showcase his acting.

I am sure r.rajkumar will be a hit but it will only be due to the songs and comedy, not for the roles or acting.
