okkadu is so much fun...and i think arjun will do a good job in mahesh's role...sonakshi will be good too as bhoomika...its not a role as good as the one in lootera, but she has prominence in the script, and a lot of footage throughout the film because the story revolves around her basically...

but they have to get Prakash raj for the villain...i cant imagine anyone else being as menacing and funny...

I liked Okkadu but that was back in 2003, idk I feel like it's too outdated to be remade. It might not work.

the last south movie I watched is okkadu caz of mahesh. can arjun bring that style of mahesh? patha nahin. weelll pair looks ok lets see btw I simply love the google ad though

Yeah, I have the same concern. Okkadu was a long time ago. Even when it first came out it wasn't the most innovative movie and it'll be even less so now. Perhaps it won't be a straight up remake and a few things will be changed to keep it fresh. Still, Arjun/Sonakshi sounds interesting.

yes it'll be something where sonakshi can be more than flowerpot but still arjun & sonaksi not sure & also even though i love arjun i dont' see the kind of appeal that mahesh has let's see how this goes.

Agree, I hope they do change a bit around to make it more suited to today's audience.
Yeah I'm looking forward to seeing Arjun and Sonakshi together.

Is it the same director?
Prabhu Deva used the exact script of Nuvostannante Nenodantana for Ramaiyya Vastavaiyya, which was a script that could've been played around with. It was a disaster ofcourse.
If it's the same director I hope he's not planning to use the same script.
