First, these tags r not important what matters is the amount of profit made through a film by a distributor.

With today's investment, ATTB is impossible for a big movie, because the promotion cost is so so expensive compare to old days. If you spend 2 croes to buy a film for a region, you need to gain 6 croes aprox for an ATTB. Its impossible, but if it makes 4 croes, its huge but the overall percentage of profit is less.

For CE, it doesn't have 30 croes difference like you r saying. It has some 18+ difference between producers & distributors & like for ETT, it's less than 10% difference in business.

Then CE or every other movie producers like YRF, UTV have sent the press release copies of break down per each day for each region TO MEDIA.

But Krish 3 team never released the break down even though some BO manics r after them which sounds very fishy because those will be the official figure release they send to TAX office.

Also SRK fans were trashing BOI 3 months ago when CE released and didn't get the ATBB tag. They refused to accept BOI's figures of 205 Cr and were hailing Taran's 235 Cr but now suddenly BOI is God.

Jess...the difference between Taran's figures and BOI's figures is somewhere between 10-20 cr...and almost all the fan groups accept it as a standard difference...the reason why such a hue and cry is being raised is because of the difference of 60 cr...which is humongous...if the difference was 10-15 cr...I don't think anyone would have made a big deal about it...
