Krrish 3 Movie Review 5 Star Diwali Dhamaka
Starring: Hrithik Roshan, Vivek Oberoi, Kangana Ranaut, Priyanka Chopra
Director: Rakesh Roshan
Producer: Rakesh Roshan
Music: Rajesh Roshan
Genre: Superhero Sci-Fi
Rating:
By Kommal D Seth, Kreative Access Media
Superhero Sci-Fi' genre is one of the toughest to crack; it is like transporting the audiences into a superhero-driven imaginary world that exists only in the director's mind, and kudos to director Rakesh Roshan, who has stood the challenge over time, and he has given India its first superhero, who can actually fly'.
The movie begins with highlights of the prequels giving a good insight of the Krrish' franchise to the audiences, and then, it moves to Kaal ki Kainaat' where an evil scientist operating from a hi-tech den in the snow-clad mountains is performing over-the-edge experiments to create mutants and deadly viruses to destroy human race. Krishna (Hrithik Roshan) lives in Mumbai with his wife Priya (Priyanka Chopra) and father Rohit Mehra (older Hrithik Roshan). Krrish is happy saving lives - helping with safe airplane landing and rescuing a kid hanging on wires - until the deadly virus created by Kaal' breaks out in Mumbai. Kaal has created Kaya (Kangana Ranaut), who has chameleon-like morphing powers, and she is leading the gang of mutants in their mission to spread the virus in Mumbai. Krrish and his family join forces to fight the virus and Kaal's team of mutants. Story takes a twist when Kaya falls in love with Krrish and experiences human emotions.
Hrithik Roshan is superlative; he has the physique and the body language of that of a superhero, and he balances the action and emotional side brilliantly. Hrithik as Krrish's dad Rohit Verma' is impactful; he will make you smile and at times will touch your emotional side especially in the climax scene. Vivek Oberoi brings back the Shakaal-' and Mogambo-era' back with his Kaal' act; in fact, he takes it up a notch to the gripping sci-fi' level; it is undoubtedly the strongest villain act seen in recent times, and Vivek is totally in control. Kangana as Kaya works like a charm; she looks stunning in the opening scene dressed in a red gown and looks superhot in her black-mutant gear too. Priyanka plays the wife and the news-reporter character to perfection.
Rakesh Roshan is a true visionary'; he has transformed the Mumbai gallis' to the New York avenues, and he has created a superhero that flies high just like his Hollywood contemporaries. Krrish 3' is a complete package; it's got mind-blowing action, family drama and the entertainment quotient to its highest level. Honey Irani and Robin Bhatt have teamed up with Rakesh Roshan for the screenplay, which is extremely riveting. Director of photography Tirru has done a stupendous job as the entire Kaal ki Kainaat' is extremely impressive. Action by Tony Ching Sui Tung and Sham Kaushal is mind blowing. Music of the movie by Rajesh Roshan is melodious and the songs are in sync with the movie, and the background score by the duo Salim Sulaiman is noteworthy. Dil tu hi bata' by Alisha Chinai is the star song in the album, and Raghupati Raghav' is a decent dance track sung by Neeraj Sridhar and Monali Thakur.
Krrish 3' is not just a Bollywood film, but it is a proud moment for every Indian, as our Desi Superhero' flies with the same power as Spiderman, Superman, Iron Man and X-Men. And with the Diwali season around the corner, Krrish 3' is going to be the Perfect Dhamaka at the box-office.
