i dont see any special spark, bland personality and even more bland screen presence and expressions but the girl is pretty. except parineeti nobody is exceptional from the new lot.

I think shes special because she doesn't seem desperate to me, she doesn't seem like a wannabe either.

I think she does have talent, she was in good in Aashiqui, her acting is good compared to some of the other actresses I have seen in the last few years. The youth prefers her over Ali and Parineeti.

I think overall she is better than Alia and Parineeti. Alia just cannot act and Parineeti is one-note, she's only good in that loud mouth role.

Also, how is declining Welcome Back arrogant of her? Maybe she didn't like her role in the film. How is that arrogant? You conveniently highlighted the projects she decline, but you didn't once mention the big projects she signed...like Villan, Haider, Gabbar, that movie with Imran and so on.

Also the comment about not working with older heroes was misquoted. I read her interview she clarified that she didn't say that. I mean she signed Gabbar opposite Akshay Kumar so obviously she has no issues with that.

Shraddha is good looking but is kind of bland in her screen presence.

What's wrong if she wants to act with those who are closer to her age group and not oldies?

Why should it be compulsory for them to lick boots of older actors so that they make their career?

A film like Welcome Back will not have anything for her. She is justified if she wants to do films with substantial roles.

What did Asin gain by doing films like Housefull?

Today all established actresses are trying to work with younger actors in consciousness of their screen age why shouldn't newbies do the same if they want to?

I believe that in transitional era of cinema it is only in interest of actress that she tries to work with stars closer to her age. Sridevi vanished because she did not work with newbies earlier. She stuck with likes of Anil, Sunny and Bachchan whereas MD went on to sign movies with Khans in late 80s and early 90s. By the time Sridevi realised that she too should work with younger actors, it was late for her.

Shraddha has refused only John. No need to crucify her for doing that. She may be debated for refusing a Khan film - that too, not for sake of those stars, but for her own sake if those stars are still going super strong at BO.

John isn't that huge. So cut her some slack!

Who told u that?...😆 only auto rikshawwalas and single screen auidences prefer Shradhdha...Parineeti and Alia r popular amonsgt youth...do u know how popular Alia is...like Katrina she has millions of haters..but double that lovers...girls..and boys...she is the new eye candy..even guys in telivision like her..and think she is the new thing in bollywood.,.

Someone said she aint desperate..maybe u dint read that blind item of her PR first saying how she was offered a film and she refused..makers clearly refused it..so she texted them saying she wud LOVE to work wid them😆

I think she is perfect in terms of looks. She has that perfect look. Beautiful, shy, sweet, vulnerable, girl next door type look. There are other actresses that are too tall (not that I am complaining!) would love their height. But she has that perfect look to go with anyone.

If only... she was good at acting though. I was not that impressed with her in A2. I am hoping she will get much better with time.
