SRK not playing Gujarati don: Farhan

Filmmaker Farhan Akhtar has denied reports that Shah Rukh Khanwill play a Gujarati don in his next production. He says the superstar essays a gangster instead.

"Don't call him a Gujarati don! He is not playing any Gujarati don. The film is based in Gujarat and his character is based in Gujarat. He is playing a gangster in the film," Farhan told IANS here.

"The film deals with crime and law," he said.

The film will be directed by Rahul Dholkia

This film looks really really interesting, characters with negative traits(as gangsters do). I think SRK will pull it off with ease. He is so good in these type of roles.

I am excited about a SRK film after a very long time
