No she was not.

Mostly because of the music and promotions, good I did not waste my money on this movie. The whole movie was lame, when I watched it on dvd.

Besharam is the answer to ALL the articles, who named YJHD is Ranbir's film and credited all the success.

If you had really read the thread, you would know that except for TM who may or may not be a DP fan... no one here has claimed that she is the sole reason... they only said it was not only due to Ranbir as claimed by Kat fans... I don't think that is wrong... I think that is correct... she was not doing a two bit role or item number alone and her role was definitely not just that of a show piece... so if people look at it objectively they would know that it was wrong to give credit only to Ranbir for the movie becoming a success!! I like both of them... so i am not trying to say besharam proved RK is not a star or that rK had no hand in the success... But just that it was quite wrong to keep saying DP had no hand in the success of the movie... i personally watched it because it was ayan mukherjee, i liked the songs and RK and DP were acting together and DP seemed to have improved a looot in the movie...

He never had mainstream fans cause they love the older actors more

A lot of people hate his off screen antics

If the besharam overseas collections are anything to go by I think the international audience is moving away too

really???? He DUMPED her for Katrina???

Would suggest that you read all the articles about their breakup to see hat Deepika walked out of the relationship after he refused to mend his flirty ways...he for more than a year even when she was with Sid Mallaya used to call her and go to her building..shout for her to give him a chance to explain...it is complained by her building people...he was totally doing Salman on her..but like Aishwarya Rai, Deepika did not take the crap lying down.👏

So next time, unless younwere there with them in the room to prove it, please take the printed articles, videos and interviews to come to a concrete conclusion. Don' tamale up this to prove that Katrina is a better person for whom Ranbir left Deepika. A woman can also walk out of a bad relationship.😊
