good points u have made... I mean even HR who has been here longer and proven to be a good actor over the years when placed in the same league as Aamir, SRK and Salman is said to be unfair and wrong - I remember once Anil Kapoor said on KWK, that HR has a long way 2 go and its not right for him 2 be put in the same league as actors who have established themselves in BW for longer years. the same goes for Ranbir...compare him with those who started off with him... i.e. Imran. not with those who have been here longer! in comparison to Imran who started off abt the same time as him, RK has done a lot better. when u make such a comparison it seems a lot more fairer.Originally posted by: ..Kirann..
I see your point TM. Yes every actor has flops in their career. Hits and flops are part of their life. Besahram's result isn't going to make RK any less of a star but it will certainly shut some people who were over hyping him and exaggerating about his star-power. I personally remember reading some posts by fans claiming RK will take over Khans, Besahram will beat CE's records and also few articles stating the same. I think that's why Khan fans are celebrating. Not because this makes RK any less of a star but because all those people who were making such big claims have been proven wrong. So I don't see why same people are crying foul now and coming up with excuses like 'every star has flops', or 'even Khans had flops' and blah blah. Sure every star has flops and no one's denying that. But don't come up with such lame excuses when you've been proven wrong. At least stick to your words.
Personally, I love watching RK on-screen. I think he is amazing and he already is a big star. Maybe not as big as Khans yet but he's big enough. This one flop isn't going to affect his career. Hopefully, he'll bounce back with his upcoming movies. All the best to him!
