I don't think common public is bothered about caste , creed and religion of BW stars. Many of them will not know what was Madhubala or DilipKumar's real name...

This is one place where there is perfect communal harmony. There is no religion or caste basis for linkups and marriages ...

Yes Quota System should be based on Financial Status of a family which will then automatically cover weaker and underprivileged sections of the society and in this way those who somehow became financially weak, will also not be ignored..

its a great article.

an industry which is quite a hindrance at its best. where the upper class people talk about removing untouchablitiy in the society but the fact is that no producer or director actually helped any untouchable to rise from the ashes.

but americans come here in india and make movies on dalits like not today...

Sadly Bollywood does reflect our society. And since the indian society itself has not yet gotteb rid of the caste system you see that also in our movies and stars.

also there is the thing that to get a good break in BW,and to get roles even after ur movie flopped, you need connections, you have to be family of this and that family, or have a godfather over you. And a lot of daliyys don't have that.

I think in regional cinema you might find more dalits, since that isn't run by just a powerful few.

Equality my foot ? Quota should be wual for all casts. Now y dalits have upper hand over us ? Everythng for them promotions everythng education we get 95 % marks n they with 75 % get preference over us. Is this called equalism ?
