Besharam's buzz is just fine. Its not upto the mark on your social media websites but that's because it doesn't cater to those audience. Its Ranbir's first masala film with the target audience being the small towner's single screen janta. The Mango people. Its going to open HUGE.

GTPM, really.
First trailer exceeded most people's expectations. Kept up with the word on twitter and people have really liked it.
Now just wait for those song promos to come out. 😉

And before anyone makes the "delusional" accusation, keep in mind, all Kareena fans were aware of the LACK OF BUZZ for Satyagraha. And we were quite vocal about it as well as the probability that it would flop.
So yes, we are more than able to distinguish between lack of buzz and some good buzz.

Honestly, I do not anymore believe in Youtube trends, Google trends, Twttter/FB trends, buzz, feedback etc. etc. The10 percent of the online population that contribute to the so called buzz in the virtual world is not significant because they really do not make or break or a movie. There are plenty of examples in front of us, just within this year where movies with relatively low buzz in the online world have proven to be big hits; while relatively tending films in the online world have become duds. A movie is not only marketed or promoted online, it needs to be seen how aware people are about films on the streets; how it's being promoted on tv; on the radio; at venues.

But still I feel Besharam is not going to fare that well. I just have that feeling, but it won't be a complete failure either; Ranbir is star in his own right.

Yup, when I say buzz, I mean obviously, online buzz.
Which is coming from that particular sector.
A good example of this is Satyagraha, which had ZERO buzz online, but managed quite a strong opening. And as predicted, it wasnt the youth that supported i, but rather families or select audiences.

There is no buzz because the film looks shitty!
I do still think it'll manage to do well though, not because of Mr superstaaar Ranbir but because it releases on a national holiday and has 3 open weeks!
Ranbir is popular but I don't think think the film would do well had it been releasing in a busy month.

One of dialogues of Ranbir is 'Unke paas hathiyar hai, par mere paas aap dono ka aashirwad hai' how innovative? đŸ„± Thats it I am not gonna watch this movie even on TV.
The promotions are on full swing everywhere...but no famous heroine 1/2 is the buzz. it will have wide release and cleare run...key is will people like it? actually?

Buzz about Gori tere pyar mein? Say what?
Anyway, Grand Masti has shown crude humor works and how. I have no doubt that this movie with it's slapstick humor and over-the-top acting will strike a right chord with the youth.
