Phata Poster Nikla Hero Movie Review - 3 Stars

In 2009, his film Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif emerged as one of the biggest hits of that year. 3 years later, on 20^th Spetember, Santoshi is back once again with another romantic comedy titled Phata Poster Nikla Hero. This time, the lead star is Shahid Kapoor along with Barfi' famed Illeana D'Cruz.

Story

Vishwas Rao (Shahid Kapoor) wants to be an actor, but circumstances turn him to become a fake super cop. From there on, he is mistaken as a cop. But unlike other cops, Vishwas find the entire violence' aspect of a cop's job to be too difficult to deal with! Kaajal (Illeana D'Cruz) is a social worker who drags Vishwas into one of the cases, without knowing his true identity! Meanwhile, Vishwas's mother Savitri (Padmini Kolhapure) wants him to become a police officer. Amid all this confusion, drama and humor, how Vishwas handles the situations and whether his true identity is revealed or not, is what forms the crux of Phata Poster Nikla Hero!

3. Nargis Fakhri - Rockstar' heroine Nargis Fakhri reincarnates herself with a sizzling item number in the movie. This is her debut item song that's titled Dhaating Naach' co-starring Shahid. We're not sure if she mastered the steps as perfectly as Shahid, but she surely sizzles on-screen!
4. Illeana D'Cruz impressed us thoroughly, with her performance in Barfi! And this time, she tries out a refreshingly different genre, and does a faily good job! Bonus: She looks super cute throughout the movie!
5. In short, it's a clean rib-tickling comedy, meant for audience of all ages.
