Mumbai, Oct. 4 -- The latest fad in Bollywood seems to be stars giving away expensive gifts to the crew on the last day of the shoot. The latest to jump on the bandwagon is Hrithik Roshan. The actor gifted chocolates and wine to the crew of Krrish 3 once the shoot was completed.

"Hrithik knows that everyone has put in a lot of effort to make the film. That's why he went out of the way to buy special gift items for the crew," says an insider. This, however, isn't the first time that the actor is giving away goodies. During the making of Agneepath (2012), Hrithik would often travel to Karjat - where the film was shot - from Mumbai and would often take chocolates for the entire crew. He is also known to give assistant directors gifts on their birthdays.

"During Krrish 3 shoot, Hrithik and his dad Rakesh would throw parties at the end of shooting schedules. It was their way of showing gratitude," adds the insider. While the actor couldn't be reached for a comment, his father says, "I have no idea about Hrithik's gesture because I am busy with some post-production work. But if he has done something like this, it's great."
