I'm a die hard Bebo, Saif fanatic, but there are some who put me to shame.
And not in a good way.

I always used to believe that Saif had really chill fans, but I bumped into one that really made me go W*F.

Random fan from twitter, dont worry, NOT a member here, so it's all good.

Altering ID for anonymity.

State instances where you feel fanaticism took a turn for the negative.

Lets try to keep this clean for IF members. If you have stories, keep the people anonymous.

Apart from IF never really encountered crazy fans,@ tweets you posted the guy is calling himself gulam and wishing someones death over a celeb?People need to spend some time in real life too than just stalking celebs on twitter etc 24*7

Fanaticism becomes negative when people start living their lives vicariously thru the stars they like. Anyways as per forum rules we shouldnt be discussing twitter issues or issues from another forum in this one.

I think fanaticism becomes negative when you become personal with another for your favorite celeb! The moment when you even lightly drag the other person's taste(favorite actor) shows that you can't prove why your celeb is as mahaan as you claim he is!! One shouldn't have to be dismissive of others in any way! It's sad that it happens majorly on IF! What fans don't realize is it doesn't add to the greatness of their faves in any way!

And this whole wishing death upon someone is an extreme!!

Like MrsMalhotra said our love for celebs shouldn't influence our cognition in anyway..anything that makes us not being able to think rationally is bad...even Bollywood

I read Fanaticism as Fascism and was wondering what fascism has to do with this site lol !

Anyway I have never really come across any fanatic who would go to such extent of calling himself a ghulam? 😲😕
The world never fails to amuse me !
