Will the Khan's ever beat Dev Patel?

BAFTA nominee Dev Patel stupified the world with his exhilarating performance in his debut Oscar winning film Slumdog Millionaire, which went on to make 1500 crores worldwide.

With just one film he destroyed all the Khan's. The Khan's on the other hand are just breaking the 200 crore barrier. The question remains, will they ever reach the dizzying heights of Dev Patel?

You're comparing the box office performance of a British/Hollywood film to an Indian film. There is a big difference in the costs, revenue, profits, screens etc.

So on what basis are you making this comparison? What dizzying heights are you talking? This guy is a NOBODY. Just because he starred in a multi-starrer that made lots of money worldwide doesn't make him a superstar.

Its not about the figures. Its about the star power and influence. And Dev has none. He is still a nobody.

I don't even like any of the Khans nor am I fans, but this is just ridiculous. Will Khans beat Dev? Dev isn't even in the running 😆

Khan's have been around for 20-25 years, have a psychotic fan following, and the best they could achieve is 200 crores.

Such a stupid post. ughhh... Dear lemme tell you one thing, SM is a HW movie, and BW in terms of financial matters, lack much behind. Reason is not that BW is not capable, it is india's economy. You see the current rate of exchange is about 1dollar= 60+ Rs. So it is just because of the economy, you better compare the day when 1Rupee=1 dollar.
And it has nothing to do with actor's potential...lemme tell you a fact, you just named khans...forget khans, just one khan is enough to tell you about the potential... SRK...dear he's richer than johnny depp, tom cruise etc. Plus (you love to compare so...) he has been declared the most popular movie star by BBC, look no dev patel, no one... but its silly with whom you have compared...lmao.
