Dharmendra has attempted extremely daring roles in SATYAKAAM (to my mind his best),...Phaagun, etc. and craved for that recognition as an ACTOR...not just content being a STAR!


Salman is extremely satisfied staying within his comfort zone. That he hasn't worked with ace directors of our times like Prakash Jha, Raju Hirani etc., is merely an illustration of that! 😊

But he worked with SLB.. But obviously that doesn't count for you.

Since i am Salman Khan fan so its obvious he stands out for me ... he may be average actor or performer but nobdy can match hs screen presence 😳 I became fond of him after i watched MPK , HAHK , PKDK n HSSH ... perfect chocolate boy looks tat was his best acting acc to me ...After that i havent really seen him doing meaningful cinema except tere naam or phir milenge .. His been hit in masala genre n has stuck with it since thn... little laid back approach in choosing n doing meaningful cinema
Though i love him for the way he is ...somebdy who is fearless n speaks his own mind 😊 Since i m not tat fond of Shammi kapoor's acting but i loved watching his movies , i find it apt to compare them ( just my opinion)

SRK - i have never loved his romantic movies for some odd reasons n his too diplomatic as person for me but Chak de n swades have been two outstandin movies n i believe nobdy cnt act better than him in those two movies 😊

Aamir - well since his mr perfectionist , his movies are always a pleasure to watch ... though talaash n dhoom 3 have disappointed me but his best actor among the three !

Many didn't like Salman in Baghbaan...I loved him in that film as well!😛

I love all 3 Khans...for different reasons though.

I think Aamir is a good actor, but since 3 Idiots, his subsequent movies were just ok. I absolutely loved him in Dil Chahta Hai, Lagaan and 3 Idiots. He, to me, is also very good for shows like "Satyameva Jayate"...to talk abt serious issues. If we leave acting aside, his personality and how he projects himself to the public...he comes across as a terribly boring person and I would not be one bit interested in knowing anything at all abt him

Shahrukh over-acts in most of his movies. I liked him in DDLJ and MNIK the most. But then again, this guy's movies are worth watching atleast once...atleast for timepass. He is a pretty good host for award shows and does know how to entertain. On the personal front, he does come across as a very "ghamandi" person. Also, he has a very boring personality and does appear to fake modesty.

Salman is just an average actor. If his movie is not good, I can give it a pass. But there's something about this guy that does draw audiences to the hall. He's got a great screen presence. His best was MPK, HAHK and Dabangg series. He was ok in Jai Ho too. He's got a very dry sense of humor that ppl cannot easily understand.. On the personal front, I think this is the one actor that has piqued my interest. Salman Khan to me comes across as just anyone of us. He does not behave like a star, talks, jokes and behaves just like any of us, and is easily relatable. He appears to be very grounded and if what we read about his helping nature in the media is true, it makes him stand a class apart from the rest.

To conclude...acting wise I like Aamir/Shahrukh...but as a person, I like Salman better.

So all 3 Khans get a 👍🏼 for different reasons

There are artistes (painters), whose work is so abstract that not everyone can understand it. One comes across pieces of modern art where one is left puzzled as to what exactly the artiste wanted to convey here?😲

If I extend this analogy to film makers, perhaps Sanjay Leela Bhansali is that painter whose work, atleast I am unable to understand / appreciate! Whether it is BLACK or DEVDAS, I would not be able to sit through the movies one more time, 100%! May be it is my inability to appreciate his 'this brand' of cinema but I do not rate his these movies or other works like GUZAARISH, SAAWARIYA etc. of high caliber! I would perfectly understand if anyone here says these movies are of a very high class and he / she found them entertaining...frankly, I do not find his movies either entertaining or conforming to what my idea of a classy film is.😊

Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, the movie you cited, is one of his rare work thats actually in the commercial mould and I liked the movie, found performances of Ajay, Salman and Aish quite good in the movie and find the movie entertaining enough to be able to watch once again. But then, I just can't compare such movies to the sheer class that a typical work of say Prakash Jha is...Apharan, Raajneeti, Gangajal etc.👍🏼

A super post..Loved reading it👍🏼..Very detailed and impartial opinions about all three of them..Kudos for that..Although it was difficult to find out..whom you like the most..😛

I am an SRK fangirl since forever..A follower of his since I was a kid and did not understand much about acting..or movies..or what is good and what is not..As an actor what I feel about him is that he is very underrated..because he has done very few movies which justifies his true potential..Be it a Swades or a CDI or a DDLJ..These movies show how good an actor he is..and how he is not justifying his talent by doing the Ra.Ones and the likes..Apart from that..I would like to add..that now I am more a fan of the man behind the actor..He has such an awe-inspiring persona..which sets him apart from the rest.

Aamir..Was never a fan before..until I watched Dil Chahta Hai..He is one brilliant actor..and whats more appealing about him is that he does the right kind of movies..Although I am an SRK fangirl..I never miss to watch Aamir's movies..And some of my most favourite movies ever..are Aamir Khan's..Like RDB and TZP..

About Salman-Was never a fan ..will never be a fan..mostly because of his off screen persona..The only two movies I liked of his are HAHK and HDDCS..which is most probably because I love the actresses of both the movies..😊

Wah wah cruiser ji I didn't know u can write something serious too 👏 read it full.

I am srk fan but like and admire aamir too. His movies are meaningful and his performance were good. Sallu though I laughed out loud in his films but let's face it he never tried to do diff films and his acting bad. His only film left a mark on me was tere naam.

his movies all about grand sets full of colors. I liked black had watched it couple of tikes too. I think though I was not aged enough still it clicked with me I enjoyed it. Hddcs I didn't like it maybe cz I hated Indian value eon in end not love 😛
