Question: When is the music of Gori Tere Pyaar Mein expected to release? What about the song promos? Will it be able to break the previous records of Imran Khan films? - asked by Suniel and many others.

Answer: The music of Gori Tere Pyaar Mein is expected to release in the 3rd or 4th week of October. The first song promo (TOOH) will be out on 10th, followed by Chingam Chabake' and one song promo every week thereafter. There are 6 songs in the album composed by Vishal-Shekhar.

About Gori Tere Pyaar Mein going on to be Imran's biggest grosser, its too early to make predictions. Only the trailer is out, the response to which is pretty good. A lot will depend on how well the film is received. Several medium to big budget films are lined up for release in the second half of November - Ram Leela' on 15th, Singh Sahab The Great' and Gori Tere Pyaar Mein' on 22nd and Bullett Raja on 29th. However, we have only heard good things about the Imran - Kareena starrer. Its a film set in a city and village - so its likely to appeal to both the multiplex and single screen audience.

Also, Imran Khan was going through a similar phase in his career when Punit Malhotra's last film I Hate Luv Storys released. It did well and Imran had 2 or 3 back-to-back hits. Now, after Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola and Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbaai Dobaara, Imran is once again in need of a hit. Gori Tere Pyaar Mein could well be that film!

The Aashiqui 2 actor will be seen playing Imran's fiance in Punit Malhotra's directorial

For the director Punit Malhotra's upcoming Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, the pretty gal Shraddha Kapoor is rumored to be play Imran Khan's fiance chosen by his parents. And not just that, she will be seen in pivotal role in the movie as well. Her character is named Shabbu Patel'.

The film is apparently a love story that revoles around a carefree happy-go-lucky guy Sriram Venkat (Imran), who falls in love with a hardcore kranti queen Dia Sharma (Kareena).

Gori Tere Pyaar Mein is slated to release on Nov 22.

Bollywood frenzy awaits movie buffs in November. Spread over four Fridays of the month are six hyped releases, at least two of which are serious contenders for biggest hit of the year. Krrish 3 on November 1 and Ramleela on November 15 are already vying for a blockbuster tag while Rajjo , Gori Tere Pyaar Mein , Singh Saab The Great and Bullett Raja are also lined up next month.

Multiple releases in consecutive weeks are common in this era of multiplexes. What makes November special is the sheer magnitude of money at stake. In all, approximately Rs.310 crore rides on the half a dozen releases.

"November looks like a huge month. Over Rs.300 crore are at stake and we expect good returns overall because all the films belong to varied genres," says Girish Wankhede, head of marketing, Cinemax.
