What's wrong with Amrita Arora? The usually perky actress, who models her image on Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan, should seriously take a leaf out of Lohan's guidebook to fame.
And no, it doesn't include winking naughtily or leering at the camera, or posing for grossly suggestive pictures a la the Rakhi Sawants of the world.
We'll put it off as a bad day for you in front of the cameras. May we suggest Queenie Dhody or Manish Malhotra for a desperate image makeover?
Priyanka is a style diva!
eBay India, India's leading online marketplace, has announced Priyanka Chopra as the eBay India Style Diva for 2006. In an online poll through June and July, the eBay India community chose Priyanka as the unanimous winner.
Gautam Thakar, country manager, eBay India Marketplace, presented her with the eBay Style Diva trophy. Priyanka announced an opportunity for all Indians to participate in a charity auction and raise funds for the education of the girl child through the NGO Nanhi Kali.
Priyanka also announced a unique experience "A day on the sets with Priyanka" to one lucky buyer on eBay India. All one needs to do to spend time with her, is bid on the eBay India site between August 10 and 19.
Birthday wishes for Sunil
Sunil Shetty celebrated a quiet birthday at his home yesterday with wife Mana and his two children. He had no plans for the night, though. "My buddies are coming over and we might go out for dinner," said the macho actor.
On Thursday, we spotted him at Bakar Nasser's, India's first fitness cycling center, cutting a cake rather sheepishly. "Yes," grins Sunil, bashfully. "I'd gone to inaugurate a friend's studio and they insisted that I cut a cake. It felt very awkward!"
It seems that cutting your cake and eating it, too is not always a digestible proposition!
'Hair' me out

She turned up in a backless outfit to inaugurate a salon at Oshiwara, run by hairstylist Aseiiel.
Also present at the do were former Miss India Shruti Sharma and music composer Wajid (of Sajid-Wajid fame). Hopefully, Kangana's frizzy mop got some treatment, too.
Bond comes undone

Even though both Sachin and Rajeshwari kept mum over their feud, insiders reveal that the bhai-behen rishta has come to a bitter end.
Out of sheer curiosity, we called Rajeshwari to find out if she had tied her bhaiya a rakhi this year. We were greeted with a cold 'no comment' response. But a source close to the actress revealed, "How can you expect her to tie him a rakhi after what he did? Rajeshwari is very emotional when it comes to making decisions, but this is one resolution that came very easily to her."
We just hope Sachin realises that even though he won the finale, he lost out on a great relationship!
Kiddy stars

The show, which will air every Friday starting September 8, will have kids vying for the title by showcasing their talents.
For Jalal, who has been acting in Sharaarat for the past four years, it will be another tryst with kids, while Sachin, post his outing as a Nach Baliye participant, will now be on the other side of the dance floor. "I will be the most fair judge," he says, while Jalal says she will be a tad soft on the participants.
The anchor for the show is Shilpa Saklani, who is looking forward to mouthing real lines rather than rehearsed dialogues. "You never know how a kid will react," she says.
