Hellooo🤗
OK ..Finally...watched Chennai Express today🥳...and my stomach still hurts because I laughed so much...The movie was a riot...⭐️
First of all..i have to say..that the movie is not a typical masala movie...Its a mix of Shahrukh's style and Rohit Shetty's style...There was a very balanced mix..of romance, comedy and action in the movie...and perhaps this is one reason that the movie is such a huge hit...because it has something both for the classes and the masses...There were hilarious dialogues...I simply loved the hints Rahul and Meenamma gave to each other by singing ...it was something new and will be copied a lot in future...I loved how the references from old Shahrukh movies were used and rightfully so...Shahrukh has 20 years worth of awesome movies...its justified tht he used most of the references from his own movies...although the chinta ta chita chita from RR was hilarious😆
Yes the acting of Shahrukh was a little OTT in some places...but it was expected...because this movie was neither a CDI nor a Swades...Good actors have to ADAPT themselves according to the genre...
The kicking scene was hilarious...and SRK looked so cute everytime he was scared of someone..
Acting wise...Shahrukh is an amazing actor so no complaints ...😆...He looked young, fresh and cute..
Deepika has improved so much as an actor and OMG...is she gorgeous...the Indian look totally suits her...Her dialogue delivery, comic timing, beauty...everything is perfect...She is now one of my favorites besides Vidya and Katrina...I loved the chemistry she and Shahrukh share...👍🏼
The locales where the movie was shot were just beautiful...I think South India is just naturally beautiful...
The songs looked so good on the big screen with all that surround sound...and so colorful as well...although I don't know why they cut parts of some songs😕
Some people said that they did not understand the Tamil dialogues...Well...it was because...Rahul was telling us his story...We were supposed to understand ONLY what he understood...right😆
As far as disrespecting South India , its traditions and languages go...I didn't see any to be honest..
The only part that I didn't like was the fighting and blood and gore in the climax...I do not enjoy such scenes in general..so didn't enjoy in this movie also...Other than that...I loved the movie...Its a great movie to watch with family...there is no vulgarity, to inappropriate dialogues...even the one item song...can be hardly called an item song...😛
Definitely going to buy the DVD of this movie whenever it is out ...and watch it again and again😆🥳
