Post her bikini pictures from her beach holiday with alleged beau Ranbir Kapoor went viral, an upset Katrina Kaif released an open letter, chiding the media for invading her privacy.

The latest addition to the story is as interesting as it could get. Apparently, Ranbir's ex-flame and a very good pal now, Deepika Padukone has given her piece of mind on the matter.

A celebrity should be more careful in situations like these, asserts Deepika. "If I am a public figure and if someone has captured me, then I feel I should have been a little careful," the actress tells an international broadcast corporation in an interview.

Surely, Deepika has faced her own set of controversies. And her wise words out of her own experiences are meant to be taken seriously. She strongly feels that a public figure should keep from pinning the blame on anyone in such a manner.

"It has never happened with me. I believe if you are a celebrity or public figure, these things are bound to happen. And I don't think you can accuse anybody of anything," Padukone further adds.
