Maybe am reading too much into it but as far as i recall, when Kat was with Salman, the media cooled their heels meters away from her. I mean, there were only hushed whispers and low jibes on her - media never caught Kat by throat or coloured her life. Simply because she was Salman's ladylove and that meant 'lay off'. I mean, she kind of appeared off limits for media at that time. Because Salman was her shield at that time and we know Sallu Bhai's clout very well.

Today, she is no longer Salman's girlfriend and media is like hounds attacking her. There was a time m they would never think of openly attacking Kat and today, its a different story. Completely.

And just to make it clear - i have no love lost for Kat. At all. I just had this thought , so sharing. :-)

Katty wasn't a big star then, just starting off, the interest wasn't huge, also she played the diplomatic card pretty well. Now she's the biggest female star in BW, the stakes are high, any article on her - positive or negative draws huge attention. Also for the first time she has taken panga with journos, so the backlash was bound to happen, all stars go through this cycle .. no big deal, she'll bounce back ...

edit : being with Salman or Ranbir has got nothing to do with it ...

Obviously yes ! Dunno its true or not but apparently salman was also the one who forced boom makers to delete those scenes from the movie 😆

Point. Though i disagree that Salman and Ranbir have got nothing to do with it, but you are right that Kat has messed up bigtime with journos this time - and she is a bigger star today. 😃

You also think so? Thanks.😆...I had also heard about the Boom deletions. 😆... Katrina could not be dissected much when she was with Salman. Ranbir is not doing much for her anyway except maintaining the 'friends' status.

I remember when she was first on KWK, she was talking about how the media has been great to her and Karan said, it's because you're Salman's gf. She was like "no, i don't think so."

@Bold..you can say that again, as a matter of fact he is enjoying the show from far away, he is no where near his girl when she needs his support😡

Is it? Wow. Karan actually said it in words.😆...i know its open to argument but being Salman's girlfriend kind of shielded Kat from a lot of media claws. Not that it was a healthy relationship either.😊

But isn't it expected from him? Ranbir is a selfish douchebag and a womanizer. He has only loved one person in his life - himself. And sadly, he finds doormats to make him believe even more in his self-love. 🥱
