It may sound a bit strange, but Abhishek Bachan says he is not overwhelmed by Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna . He is rather 'deeply touched' by the film.
We need to go a bit deeper into Abhishek's words in order to know what he means.
Abhishek saw the film at a special screening held by Karan Johar recently. Abhi says in an interview that KANK did not overwhelm him like Karan's previous works that had "grandeur and larger-than-life treatment". The film rather "touched" him and made him "quiet" and thoughtful.
From his words, Abhishek seems strongly impressed by Karan's style of filmmaking. In Abhi's opinion, "making his (Johar's) kind of cinema is very tough."
About his role in the film Abhishek says a very interesting thing.
He says since Karan has known him from childhood, he incorporated certain of his (Abhi's) personality moods and traits in his character Rishi in the film.
KANK is the biggest film of Abhishek's career so far. He says he wants to do more films in which he can get to share the screen space with Shah Rukh Khan and dad AAmitabh Bachan.
By the way, shooting for the movie was fun for the entire cast. Karan, Rani, Preity, Abhi and SRK are friends in real life. And Abhi says he learnt a great deal from Shah Rukh while working with him.
