I honestly don't understand why tharki Anurag gets a pass every single time. There has been buzz linking him to the leads of each one of his films. Ayesha Mohan, Mahi Gill, Kalki (but of course and oddly he had to marry the fugliest of the lot), Huma etc.

A big motivation for all the indie darlings to become producers/directors is exactly the same as what motivates the mainstream guys - to get into a lead actress's pants. However, the commercial guys get called out on it all the time and the indie ones get away with pretending to be holier than thou. Remember that Dibakar-Payal Rohatgi incident?

It's the same sort of mindset that would call Manyata a golddigger but not Kiran Rao.
