Priyanka Chopra flies high

Priyanka Chopra has sung a song Fly High, for Disney's Planes, a 3D comedy-adventure to be released worldwide on August 9. The Disney team was keen that the actress sing this song. She heard it, and agreed to sing it. PC recorded the song in Los Angeles earlier this year.

PC has also 'acted' in this film. She has lent her voice to the character of Ishani.
Planes is not just Pryianka's first Hollywood film but also the first film she has sung playback for. She has already released her music album In The City.

Planes is a animated, comedy adventure about pursuing one's dreams.

Priyanka says, "From the first time that the team from Disney proposed that I sing Fly High, I was hugely excited. I love the song and believe that it is a great way to introduce audiences across the world to my character Ishani. The song captures the essence of who Ishani is — sassy and strong and on par with all the boys! It's actually the first time that I have lent my voice to one of my films and this is very exciting for me! The response has been fabulous and I'm humbled and happy!"

She plays the reigning Pan-Asia champion from India, Ishani, who is exotic, mysterious and ruthless in the skies. Thanks to her high-speed competitiveness and talent, she amasses more than a billion loyal fans — including one rookie racer who turns to her for guidance. Ishani is full of surprises, but always has her eye on the prize.

Happy for priyanak hope that both film and song become successful
