Raanjhanaa experience was 'priceless' for Dhanush

Abhay Deol, who played the third angle in the love triangle in 'Raanjhanaa', apparently, charged a bomb to act in the movie. We know the exact amount but will refrain from divulging it. Anyway, the reason why the Bollywood actor charged almost five times the amount his South Indian counterpart Dhanush was being paid, is because the latter had the meatier role and he (Abhay) was fully aware of this fact.

Coming back to the most important part, Dhanush got all the bouquets for Raanjhanaa. So, even though the actor was reportedly paid a far lesser remuneration than A R Rahman and Abhay, he got a taste of super-fame. And that, he was overheard saying, is priceless.

thats what, Dhanush may be got less paid, but ended up with the most amount of praises.. but its saddistic hw other actors wanted more money becos they werent d hero and dhanush was.

Abahay Deol may be nephew of the Indian He Man, but Dhanush is the son in law of the SuperStar!

Really now! I like Abhay Deol but it is laughable that a south superstar would get paid less than an actor who was playing a side character. Dhanush earns 7 crore down south, curious to know how much he got for Raanjhanaa! I hope he did not compromise on his pay to make his Hindi film debut. Dhanush does not need worry about guaranteeing audience, coz the south Indians will flock to the theatres. He had more clout than Abhay among the audience even before Raanjhana had released. So, really do not understand why Abhay should be paid more than Dhanush at all.

its not about being d relative of any known superstar.. its about who sells, or apeeals more.. Dhanush is definitely has a much bigger appeal than abhay deol.. down south and even to some extent down north..

i wont believe if ppl say that no1 was curious bout Ranjhaana..

i have see ppl who only wanted to watch Raanjhana, becos they wanted to see Dhanush's magic..

so indeed being d lead hero he was paid less ..

exactly, Dhanush doenst have to prove anything indeed, his work does explain a lot of things..

only thing i dont get is if abhay charged more money than Dhanush only becos he was d side hero, then why did he ever do the role ?.. i mean, why do a side role and also charge more money only becos they dint give d lead role ?.. i m hell confused.😕
