Ashiqui 2 and Ranjhaana, did have a better and bigger impact.. both d films r called as trendsetters in d era of films where only item songs, some great locations, typical romcoms r working.. in this times, tragic and unusual love sagas like Ashiqui2 and Ranjhana not only worked widout A listers but also ensured that they worked in every category, from music, to pairing, to story, to acting.. every single category both d films stood out very well.
YJHD is no doubt a BB, but i dont have any second doubts that it doesnt have a craze what Ashiqui2 still has, and now the crzae Dhanush-Sonam pairing is spreading.
but that doesnt mean i m telling dat YJHD is a bad film, its a good film, but it has nothing 2 get remembered for ages which earlier KJO films like KKHH had..
but on d other hand, both Ashiqui 2 and Ranjhaana will be remembered after 20 years also.. thats d way they have set d benchmark for the melodious love sagas..
so in everyway, sonam wins for me, not only becos of d risk she had taken wid this film, but also d way he had d maturity, d charm, d screen presence and an unconventional chemistry wid Dhanush..
