The actress has been signed for a love story to be directed by Mohit Suri.

After Vidya Balan is done with the Ghanchakkar promotions and the filming of her next, Shaadi Ke Side Effects, the actress will start Vishesh Films' next. The untitled project will be directed by Mohit Suri. Riding high after the success of Aashiqui 2, Suri is presently directing Villain which features Siddharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles.

The film with Vidya, a source tells us, is an emotional love story. "While Vidya has been confirmed for the lead, the male lead is yet to be finalised."

On how Vidya came on board, the source added, "Vidya loved the script and immediately agreed to be a part of the film. The production house is in the process of working out the modalities of the project. The film may go on floors by end of this year."

When Mirror contacted Mukesh Bhatt, he confirmed that Vidya has been signed for Mohit Suri's next. But he left us guessing if their blue-eyed boy, Emraan Hashmi will step into the male lead's role.

I don't know how I feel about this honestly because I dunno how I feel about Mohit..

..waise its something to have the female actress on board and then look for the guy.

Did Mohit direct Awarapan? That's the only Bhatt movie I enjoyed watching. So who's the lead actor? Not Emraan again please. Let Vidya romance somebody else for a change 😉

we know she's gonna be good in any movie. will watch it for vidya, usually dont like bhatt's films

I want VB and EH again 😃...I mean its a love story...both said recently they want to do a proper love story where they aren't fighting.

Plus Mohit and EH combination always gives good movies...like Awarapan,Murder2,Kalyug
